Graphene 1200-2MON18Z
The aim of this lecture is to present in the systematic way the vast and fast expanding part of material science which is focused on graphene and 2 D materials. During consecutive meetings the following topics will be covered:
-introduction with short description of necessary fundamental concepts from chemistry, physics and material engineering
- various methods of graphene synthesis
-unique properties of graphene and their explanation
-physicochemical characterization of graphene and carbon materials
-interesting current and future application
-graphene and biomimetics
-other 2D materials, perspectives, topics “currently under-investigation”
