Waste Management 4030-WM
The course covers the most crucial issues connected with the rules of sustainable development in waste management. The following thematic issues will be discussed: currently used modern and green technologies in waste management, analytical techniques necessary for reliable assessment of environmental pollution. The legislation and regulations of transport, storage, treatment and disposal of waste in Poland and in EU will be also discussed.

Efekty kształcenia
As learning outcomes the students will be able to estimate the influence of the discussed methods on environment, judge their efficiency, and will be able to indicate the appropriate method in economical, technical and environmental aspects. Furthermore, the students should achieve the knowledge of investigation methods of the environment, and of sampling methods of environmental samples, their preparation for analytical research.

Kryteria oceniania
A grade from the course will be an average from the grades earned by a student from all projects.
Student is obliged to participate in all five projects and to complete them with a final positive grade.
In the case of justified absence of student during the classes, additional term of the classes will be arranged with lecturer of the project
