Entrepreneurship, Leadership & CSR 4030-ELCSR
The objective of this module is to provide students with principles of entrepreneurship, leadership, and CSR in the context of sustainability. Group discussions and in class activities will be a large aspect of the course.
Sustainable entrepreneurship combines the traditional focus of entrepreneurship with an emphasis on opportunities to improve local and global environmental and social conditions. In the class topics on competitiveness in sustainability entrepreneurship and challenges in modern world will be covered. Students will learn about the ecological problems facing local and global communities and recognize opportunities for entrepreneurs.
The objective of this module is to provide students with basic principles of leadership for sustainability. It will provide a multidisciplinary approach to leading and managing an organization’s development which ensures we operate in a sustainable way. Leading yourself, developing teamwork, and leading change will be introduced. Emphasis will be placed on vision, strategy, goals, motivation, decision-making, dealing with change, power, team building, conflict, various skills, and behaviors associated with effective leadership for sustainability.
Student will learn advanced concepts of CSR and environmental management and will learn how to apply them to the company / problem. Student will familiarize with the phenomena in contemporary work related to CSR, limiting / improving the social / environmental impact of business. Student will know practical CSR and environmental management tools portfolio, learn how to use them and choose for the right company / problem. Student will be able to design and analyze environmental management procedures, processes and systems. Student will know the issues related to environmental design, production and auditing and will be able to apply them in organizational practice.

Is able to analyze circumstances and relationships in which to then prescribe the model of leadership for sustainability.
Is able to use different tools and concepts from the portfolio of CSR’ instruments to solve problems between society, the environment and organizations.
Analyze different organizational situations from the perspective of society, the environmental and other stakeholders.
