Student internship: internship / workshop / fieldwork 3700-MSNS-INTERN
The internship may take one of three forms: internship, workshop or fieldwork, with the total duration of 300 hours. The location and form of the internship should be approved by the internship supervisor.
An internship is carried out in a selected department of state or public administration, an EU institution, a municipality or a non-governmental organisation.
A workshop has a pre-approved topic and involves the participation of relevant stakeholders. Workshop must have at least one of the following outcomes: a policy paper, a media message covered by relevant content providers, or recommendations for public administration, the non-profit sector or the private sector.
A fieldwork involves field research and data analysis under the guidance of the thesis supervisor
Alternatively, it is possible to participate in a research project under individual conditions, the result of which should be a scientific article (partly consistent with the thesis) or co-authorship of a scientific article.
Documents related to internships, including the Rules and Regulations for Student Internship for the Migration Studies and New Societies Programme, the Guidelines on Student Internship for the Migration Studies and New Societies Programme and the Internship Proposal Application Form, may be found on the Faculty of “Artes Liberales” website.
