During classes students know: ways of dealing with everyday situations for example: at the shop, in the office, making a telephone call as well as asking some questions during commuting, describing some phenomena and situations, defining subjects, expressing own views. They know the basics of German grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation.

We will continue to work with the book Menschen A1.1 (Lektion 6-10)

Założenia (opisowo)

Continuation of the course (second part) for students with little or none knowledge of German language. The course is devoted to the people who have studied German for a 1 term. During classes students will learn and improve basic elements of grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation.

Efekty kształcenia

On completing the course students will know how to form simple questions on social life, such as place they live in, people they meet and things they possess, they also will be able to answer such questions. They will know how to cope with various aspects of their daily life, e.g. in a shop, coffee, office environment, etc. They will know how to introduce themselves and other people; they will also be able to lead a simple conversation providing that their speaker speaks slowly and is willing to help out.

At this level a learner:
• can understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type.
• can introduce him/herself and others and can ask and answer questions about personal details such as where he/she lives, people he/she knows and things he/she has.
• can interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help.

Kryteria oceniania

Receiving a minimum of 60% as the final mark.
