This 28-hour Foundations of Behavioral Science (organizational behavior, OB) module (8 meetings – 3.5 hours each) focuses on the interaction of the individual, the group, and the organization. Selected topics within these units of analysis that include perception, leadership, organizational change, culture, teams, conflict management, and power are presented through the lens of several key issues facing managers and leaders today. Instructional strategies include the presentation and discussion of relevant OB theory and practice. Individual and group activities, self-assessment tools, and case studies inform the class discussion.
