Summer School: Introduction to Entrepreneurship 2600-MFSS12-SS
This course will refer to food systems. Students will learn to make use of scientific tools to create solutions for practice along the food chain. The setup of multinational communication ways will improve the understanding of different stages of food production within different parts of Europe. The course will cover following issues: Entrepreneurship in society; Models of entrepreneurship; Social vs conventional entrepreneurship; Entrepreneurial ethics; Different conceptualizations of the entrepreneurial method, with specific focus on effectuation theory; Ideation approaches; Business modeling, including building niches and pivoting; Building a business casePitching; Legal forms for ventures, basics of regulation; Financial management: cash flow, P&L, balance sheet Funding; Risk and resource management, including team dynamics; Writing a business plan
