1.Networking
Participants will be given the opportunity to learn the principles of effective networking and how to overcome the most ubiquitous barriers in becoming a successful networker. During the practical group exercises participants will train their networking skills and benefit from getting to know each other better.
2.Personality and Social Skills Assessment
Participants will be offered a variety of tools that help to assess one’s personality type, attitudes, behaviors and social skills. It will give an insight into strengths and capabilities that participants already have as well as areas that might be mastered.
3.Effective communication
We will look on how communication works and explain the dynamic . What are the main elements of the effective communication. How to be a good listener? What are the techniques that improve listening abilities (e.g. paraphrasing, active listening, synchronizing). Preferred ways of processing information (NLP Representational Systems).
4.Emotional intelligence and stress
What is emotional intelligence and how to use it effectively. How to put others and yourself at ease. Empathy and assertiveness - how to join it? Setting clear boundaries for others. How to manage emotions – stress management.
5.Team building
Practical principles of successful team building and cooperation in teams. Conflicts in team – how to cope with them, and best ways of resolving. Setting goals - well-formedness criteria for creating individual and group goals. Feedback – practical rules how to give and receive feedback effectively. Feedback and feedforward. Leadership skills.
