By the end of the course the students should have developed a critical awareness regarding many of the moral issues which arise in international business today and be able to form rea-soned judgements about he best ways to tackle these. The course does not aim to transmit any particular messages or ready-made solutions to moral dilemmas in businessbut only to make students aware of the issues and to encourage them to reflect critically on them drawing on the resources of moral philosophy.The main goals of the lecture is to clarify two themes: (1) the relationship between ethics and effectiveness in businessand corporations(2) the role of ethics as one of the crucial social competencies of managers.(3)presentation ofvarious ap-proaches to moral dilemma in businessand world
