The idea of the course is to explore and acquire with a broad and diverse knowledge on globalisation. This area of social sicence has been developed widely in the last 40 years. There are several academic perspectives focusing on this diverse process, dealing with different aspects of it. At class we will try to follow the discussion on the roots and origins of globalisation, the ways of understaning globalisation. We will explore different compontents of globalisation: economic, political, cultural, social dimention. Finally we will explore some consequences of globalisation from the point of political view, and look through for the critques and attamepts to improve and manage the process.

Student is able to formulate the main arguments critisising globalisation and understands its ethical background.
