Instrumental Analysis Laboratory 1200-2EN-IALA1M
Introduction to modern measurement methods and procedures using various instrumental techniques, such as spectrometry combined with chromatographic separation, electrochemical techniques, and spectrometric techniques. During the classes, students apply selected techniques to analyze samples in practice. Each laboratory exercise focuses on a different measurement technique. The laboratory prepares students for work in laboratories in fields where modern instrumental analysis techniques are used.
The full workload is 75 hours, including 45 hours for preparing for classes.

After completing the instrumental analysis laboratory, the student:
- identifies the advantages and limitations of the instrumental analysis technique;
- defines an analytical problem that can be solved using a specific analytical technique;
- is able to apply the appropriate instrumental technique to obtain the information of interest;
- critically analyzes the results and presents them in the form of a report;
- is able to prepare a sample for analysis both in terms of the selected instrumental technique and the information they want to obtain.
Kryteria oceniania
Preparation for each laboratory class/exercise will be graded. Participation in laboratory classes will be possible after receiving a positive grade on the preliminary knowledge check (at the beginning of each laboratory class). In addition, reports on each laboratory class prepared by the group will be graded. Participation in all laboratory classes is mandatory. Maximum number of absences: 2 (it is required to pass all exercises).
Praktyki zawodowe
Not applicable.
Literatura
The list of required literature is available on the Laboratory's website on the Kampus platform and can be found in the requirements necessary to prepare for each class/exercise.
