Instrumental Analysis Laboratory 1200-2EN-IALA1M

After finishing the Instrumental Analysis Laboratory student is:
- identifying virtues and restrictions of every of applied techniques of the instrumental analysis
- defining the analytical problem which she/he can solve with the given analytical technique
- able to apply the right instrumental technique to obtain the analytical information she/he is interested in
- critically analyzing achieved results and showing them in the short form of the presentation/lecture
- able to prepare the sample for analysis both concerning the chosen instrumental technique as well as the information which is wanted to get

Preparation of the students for every laboratory class/exercise as part of the laboratory will be judged. The student will can to perform laboratory class only after obtaining a positive mark on the entrance test. Additionally, a report of each laboratory class prepared through the group or individually by each group member will be judged. Partial evaluations from individual laboratory classes will be a base for the general evaluation from the laboratory. Involvement in all laboratory classes and obtaining positive evaluations from them are a ruthlessly required condition.
