Taking Care of Yourself in the Face of Academic Challenges. 0508-TS-ANG-OG
The course consists of six modules covering topics such as:
- Adapting to a new academic environment;
- Strategies for coping with challenges and difficult situations;
- Communication and relationship-building;
- Mental and physical well-being;
- Mindfulness and self-awareness;
- Getting to know yourself and your needs.
The course will help answer questions such as: how to cope with change and adapt to new situations, how to manage emotions in difficult situations, and how to build support networks. It will introduce strategies to help you cope with uncertainty and stress, build mental well-being, communicate with others, and better understand yourself (your actions and emotions).

Efekty uczenia się
Upon completing the course, participants will:
- be familiar with basic strategies for better adapting to new or difficult situations;
- have basic skills for managing stress-related tension;
- will understand what automatic thoughts are and how to apply the ABC model in an academic setting;
- will be familiar with communication topics such as assertive communication and emotional communication;
- will be able to recognize their own needs and know how to utilize their resources;
- will be able to implement appropriate techniques to support emotional balance.
Kryteria oceniania
- Each module includes a short homework task. Homework is optional, is not assessed, and does not need to be submitted.
- The course begins with a non-graded pre-test and concludes with a non-graded post-test. Participants' final grade is based on the results of the final assessment test.
- To successfully complete the course, participants must obtain at least 60% of the total points on the final assessment test.
