This programme is offered by the Faculty of Economic Sciences at the University of Warsaw which, in opinion of Polish State Accreditation Committee, offers the best economics curricula in Poland. This programme leads to the degree of 'magister', which corresponds to Master of Arts in Economics. „International Economics” is the 1st program in Economics in Eastern Europe in Eduniversal Best Masters Ranking 2022.

Learning outcomes
The graduate of this specialization:
- knows in depth the theory of microeconomics, macroeconomics, and advanced econometric methods;
- knows the functioning of national and international economies and finances to a greater extent;
- understands the position of the economic theory in social sciences;
- knows international economic, trade, and financial organizations, as well as current phenomena in the development of the world economy, trends in international trade and trade policy;
- knows the rules of intellectual property protection and the legal matters;
- can carry out econometric modelling, forecast time series using mathematical, statistical and analytical, and IT tools, also in English at the B2 + level;
- can analyse the phenomena in the national and international economy, also in English the B2 + level;
- can identify, interpret and explain complex phenomena using the knowledge of the theory of microeconomics and macroeconomics, also in English at the B2 + level;
- can identify, interpret and explain complex phenomena using the knowledge of international finance, markets, and international financial institutions, and the valuation of financial instruments in financial engineering of an international corporation, also in English at the B2 + level;
- can conduct business negotiations, prepare reports and present effectively the results of independent analyses, and conduct business correspondence, also fluently in English based on the specialized terminology learned in all courses taught in English;
- can use the latest versions of international trade models, including technology transfer and foreign investment flows in the global knowledge-based economy;
- can mobilize themself to quickly self-educate and raise the acquired qualifications;
- is prepared to critically evaluate the achievements of the theory of microeconomics, macroeconomics, the history of economics and finance;
- is prepared to think and act in an entrepreneurial, social, and ethical manner; and
- is prepared to follow professional ethical standards.
