Cele programu studiów:
Studia drugiego stopnia mają na celu wykształcenie absolwenta posiadającego wiedzę i znającego w stopniu pogłębionym metodologię badań i terminologię w zakresie zarządzania finansami i rachunkowości oraz w dyscyplinach uzupełniających, jak: ekonomia i finanse, nauki prawne.
Celem programu jest wykształcenie absolwenta, który ma wiedzę o zasadach tworzenia i rozwoju różnych form przedsiębiorczości, gotowego do działania w sposób przedsiębiorczy w wymiarze krajowym i globalnym. Program ma na celu wykształcenie absolwenta posiadającego umiejętności i kompetencje do rozpoznawania, diagnozowania i rozwiązywania złożonych i nietypowych problemów związanych z decyzjami finansowymi w organizacji i zarządzaniem instytucjami oraz do określenia wpływu otoczenia: technologicznego, społecznego, politycznego, prawnego, ekonomicznego i ekologicznego na decyzje finansowe, funkcjonowanie organizacji i całej gospodarki. Studia mają na celu wykształcenie absolwenta posiadającego umiejętności samodzielnego i zespołowego przygotowania opracowań dotyczących złożonych i nietypowych problemów związanych z zarządzaniem finansami w organizacjach, rachunkowości, zarządzaniem instytucjami finansowymi i strategiami instytucji finansowych oraz komunikatywnego ich przedstawiania w języku polskim i angielskim. Celem programu jest wykształcenie absolwenta przygotowanego do samodzielnego uczenia się i aktualizowania wiedzy, i wspierania innych w tym zakresie, przygotowanego do przestrzegania i rozwijania zawodowych standardów etycznych.

Nabór studentów do grup w ramach specjalności, będzie dokonywany na podstawie średniej z 1 semestru studiów oraz wyniku egzaminu wstępnego.
Uruchomienie w/w specjalności będzie możliwe po zapisaniu się wymaganej liczby, minimum 30 studentów.

Zajęcia odbywają się w siedzibie Wydziału Zarządzania Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego, przy ul. Szturmowej 1/3, w Warszawie. Wirtualny spacer po kampusie

Posiada umiejętność współdziałania, pracowania i kierowania w większej lub mniejszej grupie, przyjmując w zespołach różne role, wykazując przy tym przywództwo, komunikatywność, sumienność i wytrwałość.

Potrafi dokonywać ocen krytycznych do złożonych sytuacji i zjawisk związanych z zarządzaniem finansami w organizacjach, z rachunkowością, zarządzaniem instytucjami finansowymi i strategami instytucji finansowych.
Potrafi myśleć i działać w sposób przedsiębiorczy w wymiarze krajowymi i globalnym.
Wykazuje wrażliwość na kwestie etyczne, społeczne oraz na różnice kulturowe i jest gotów do rozwijania branżowych standardów etycznych.
Możliwości zatrudnienia
Absolwent tego kierunku będzie mógł podejmować pracę m.in. w:
przedsiębiorstwach sektora finansowego, np. w bankach, zakładach ubezpieczeń, domach maklerskich, towarzystwach funduszy inwestycyjnych,
przedsiębiorstwach sektora niefinansowego prywatnego o różnej skali działalności, zarówno produkcyjnych, jak i usługowych,
instytucjach sektora publicznego, np. w instytucjach administracji rządowej i instytucjach sektora publicznego.
Wśród potencjalnych stanowisk pracy znajdują się: księgowy, analityk bankowy, analityk ubezpieczeniowy, analityk rynkowy, analityk finansowy, itp. Absolwent studiów II stopnia przygotowany jest do wykonywania pracy wymagającej kwalifikacji specjalistycznych (np. specjalista lub starszy specjalista, doradca klienta, doradca finansowy, itp.). Po zdaniu odpowiednich egzaminów państwowych lub międzynarodowych i odbyciu odpowiedniej praktyki absolwent ma możliwość wykonywania zawodów licencjonowanych, takich jak: makler giełdowy, doradca inwestycyjny lub broker ubezpieczeniowy, czy też posługiwania się certyfikatami FRM, PRM, CFA, etc.
Po zdaniu odpowiednich egzaminów państwowych lub międzynarodowych i odbyciu odpowiedniej praktyki absolwent kierunku MSFBIR ma możliwość wykonywania zawodów licencjonowanych, takich jak:
