first cycle programme full-time, 3-year studies Language: Polish | Jump to: Opis ogólnyPolish+ is a five-year first-cycle study program organized by the University of Warsaw and Sichuan University. During the first two years of studies at Sichuan University, Chinese students learn about Polish language and culture. Then, at the University of Warsaw, they continue their Polish language studies at the Faculty of Polish Studies for a year. For the next two years, they gain specialist knowledge at the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies the Faculty of Economic Sciences. Graduates of Polish+ receive two Bachelor's diplomas: one from Sichuan University in Polish Language and Literature and the other from the University of Warsaw in economics or international relations. |

Learning outcomes
The graduate of this specialization:
- knows and understands research methodology and terminology in the field of economics and finance, as well as management and quality sciences;
- has advanced knowledge of micro- and macroeconomics, finance, and quantitative methods in economics, including methods of obtaining and analysing data;
- knows at an advanced level how the economy, markets, and market institutions function;
- knows and understands at an advanced level the rules, procedures, and practices related to the activities of various types of organization, its key functions (operational, marketing, financial, personnel management), and its relations with the environment;
- has knowledge of mathematics, which they apply when solving economic problems and issues related to the management of organizations;
- knows and understands at an advanced level legal regulations concerning the functioning of the organization and the entire economy;
- knows and understands technological, social, political, legal, economic, and ecological processes and phenomena and their impact on the functioning of the organization and the entire economy, including the principles of industrial property protection and copyright;
- can use the micro, macroeconomic and financial theory to model socio-economic and business processes based on the scientific method;
- can use the theory of the discipline of management science and quality to recognize, diagnose and solve problems related to key functions in the organization and integrate them within the organization’s strategy, selecting the sources appropriately and adapting existing methods;
- can prepare reports for business and present effectively the results of independent analyses, also in English at the minimum level of B2 and using IT and communication tools;
- can use knowledge in the field of mathematics, operations research, statistical and econometric methods, together with the ability to use the analytical software STATA, Excel, Maxima to conduct a quantitative analysis of economic, financial, and management problems, in particular in the study of enterprises;
- can participate in debates, critically refer to the results of own analyses and compare them with scientific research in economics and finance as well as in management and quality sciences; can plan and organize their own work and work in a team, especially of an interdisciplinary nature; can plan and implement their own learning throughout their life; and
- is prepared to participate in the preparation of business projects for entities operating in various sectors of the economy.
