Polish+ is a five-year first-cycle study program organized by the University of Warsaw and Sichuan University. During the first two years of studies at Sichuan University, Chinese students learn about Polish language and culture. Then, at the University of Warsaw, they continue their Polish language studies at the Faculty of Polish Studies for a year. For the next two years, they gain specialist knowledge at the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies the Faculty of Economic Sciences. Graduates of Polish+ receive two Bachelor's diplomas: one from Sichuan University in Polish Language and Literature and the other from the University of Warsaw in economics or international relations.

Learning outcomes

The graduate of this specialization:
- knows the basic theorems of the learned branches of mathematics;
- knows, understands and uses the micro and macroeconomic theory to model socio-economic processes based on the scientific method;
- knows examples that illustrate specific mathematical concepts and allow to refute erroneous hypotheses or incorrect reasoning;
- is competent to analyse basic economic problems;
- knows actuarial and financial issues, is aware of its complexity; is prepared to deepen their skills based on the available scientific bibliography, noticing the limitations of the learned calculation methods;
- can choose appropriate tools and theories of micro and macroeconomics to search for solutions to actual economic problems, understanding the causes and anticipating the effects of economic phenomena on the functioning of markets, households, and enterprises;
- can comprehensively present correct mathematical reasoning, formulate theorems, and definitions in writing and speech;
- can use basic econometric tools in their own research; can prepare empirical material, formulate research hypotheses, estimate the model, and interpret the obtained results;
- can prepare reports and present effectively the results of independent analyses, also in a foreign language at the minimum B2 level;
- is prepared to undertake professional activities in the organization individually and in a group; can communicate effectively when working in a group; can identify professional problems in the workplace and assess their competences from the perspective of solving these problems.
