Polish+ is a five-year first-cycle study program organized by the University of Warsaw and Sichuan University. During the first two years of studies at Sichuan University, Chinese students learn about Polish language and culture. Then, at the University of Warsaw, they continue their Polish language studies at the Faculty of Polish Studies for a year. For the next two years, they gain specialist knowledge at the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies the Faculty of Economic Sciences. Graduates of Polish+ receive two Bachelor's diplomas: one from Sichuan University in Polish Language and Literature and the other from the University of Warsaw in economics or international relations.

The graduate of this specialization: - has basic knowledge of the functioning of international capital, labour, and currency markets; - knows the instruments used to settle transactions on foreign markets; - knows and understands the processes of monetary and economic integration and their consequences for private and public entities; - has basic knowledge of the rules of operation of international economic institutions and the rules established by them for international exchange and commercial aspects of intellectual property law; - can apply micro and macroeconomic models of foreign trade, international production, and international finance for empirical analyses, including the use of econometric tools; - can use the instruments used to make and settle transactions on foreign markets; - can analyse the processes of monetary and economic integration and their effects on private and public entities; - can conduct business analysis in the public and private sector and apply qualifications and legal and professional standards in accounting and management to make strategic and operational decisions in enterprises operating on foreign markets; - can prepare reports and present effectively the results of independent analyses, also in a foreign language at the minimum B2 level, in particular for the needs of international institutions and markets; and - is prepared to participate in the preparation of projects in the field of analyses of international economies and markets for entities operating in various sectors of the economy.
The graduate of this specialization: - knows and understands the functioning of business entities in the field of broadly understood financial aspects, investing, and accounting; - has knowledge of company reporting supported by knowledge of Polish and international accounting standards; - knows and understands the ways of using various financial instruments and business management tools in the economic practice; - can carry out economic analyses of enterprises in a diverse institutional and competitive environment, use the tools of strategic analysis of enterprises, research their market and investment potential; - can recognize, diagnose and solve problems related to the management of enterprise resources; - can use knowledge in the field of mathematics, operations research, statistical and econometric methods, analytical software STATA, Excel, Maxima to conduct quantitative analysis of economic, financial, and management issues, in particular in the study of enterprises; - can identify complex processes affecting enterprises in the modern knowledge-based economy; - can prepare reports and present effectively the results of independent analyses, also in a foreign language at the minimum B2 level, especially for the needs of enterprises; and - is prepared to participate in the preparation of business projects for entities operating in various sectors of the economy.
The graduate of the specialization: - has knowledge of mathematics, operations research, statistical and econometric methods necessary to conduct quantitative analysis of economic, financial and management issues; - has knowledge of the micro and macroeconomic theory needed to model socio-economic processes; - has knowledge of the legal, economic and social aspects of taxes, in particular knows and understands legal terminology and methodology related to tax law, administrative and court proceedings, tax administration, and financial law; - has knowledge of accounting, including tax and budget accounting, understands the principles of accounting and preparing financial statements, understands the role of accounting in managing private and public entities, knows management methods in both types of entities; - has interdisciplinary knowledge about the public sector and its finances, understands the role of the public sector in the economy and society, in particular has knowledge about the functioning of the public finance sector in Poland; - can use the micro and macroeconomic theory to model socio-economic processes based on the scientific method; - can analyze and formulate opinions on the operation of the public sector, including tax systems, public debt, and decentralization; - can design and evaluate tax solutions from the point of view of an individual, enterprise, and public budgets; - can use economic and legal knowledge when performing managing activities in the public and private sectors and at the interface of these two sectors; - can prepare reports and present effectively the results of independent analyses, also in a foreign language at the B2 level; - can plan and organize well their own and teamwork, quickly self-educate, including life-long learning; can participate in debates, critically refer to the results of their own analyses and compare them with scientific research in the field of public finance and economics of taxation; - is prepared to raise their qualifications, using their own work and expert knowledge; can plan and organize their own and teamwork well; - understands the legitimacy of professional ethical standards and is prepared to observe them; - is aware of the economic benefits of complex management processes, data and human resources in the process of making strategic decisions in public and private sector entities; - is prepared to use their knowledge in the implementation of tasks for the benefit of the social environment.

The graduate of this specialization: - knows and understands the theories of micro and macroeconomics, finance, insurance, mathematics, statistics, econometrics, computer science, and programming, as well as their applications in modelling social and economic processes; - knows and understands quantitative methods used by economic and financial data analysts, including statistical, econometric, actuarial, computational, and IT methods used in the analysis of economic, financial, and management problems; - knows and understands research methods using selected IT tools, including programming languages and analytical tools from the SAS, R, Python, and Maxima groups; - knows and understands the principles of industrial property protection and copyright law applied by a data analyst in relation to sources of knowledge, data, and IT tools; - can combine theoretical knowledge with a comprehensive approach to data processing and analysis, including the methodology of processing large data sets ("big data") and data analysis with an undefined structure ("data mining", "text mining"); can select and apply methods and tools in the field of information and communication technologies; - can perform statistical, econometric and simulation analyses, forecast time series, use methods of quantitative and qualitative data analysis, including factor, discriminant, cluster, and multivariate analysis, as well as prepare reports and presentations about results, also in English; - can solve complex tasks using methods, tools, and selected programming languages (C, C ++, R, Python, SQL, VBA, and 4GL) to acquire, integrate, process, and analyse databases based on modern database systems; can plan and implement their own learning throughout their life; - can participate in debates, critically refer to the results of their own analyses and compare them with scientific research in economics and finance; can plan and organize their own work and work in a team, especially of an interdisciplinary nature; - can use English at the B2 CEFR level, including specialist terminology needed for work and research in the field of economics and finance; - is prepared to recognize a wide range of benefits of possessing the knowledge and skills related to complex data management in enterprises, research and financial institutions, banks, firms, and other entities, and is prepared to critically assess and expand their knowledge; - is prepared to actively participate in the work of analytical teams and to fulfil social obligations, implement complex projects, think in an entrepreneurial way, and work creatively within analytical teams; and - is prepared to observe professional ethical standards, fulfil the commitments made, as well as develops and disseminates the acquired competences and knowledge.
