Practical Project: Digital Technologies 4219-PP112
The course emphasizes the development and application of organizational, communication, and teamwork skills through the design and execution of a structured project. Each student will undertake a project that engages with digital technologies in the context of the humanities and social sciences. Projects must be planned systematically, incorporating key project management components such as risk assessment, deliverable definition, scheduling, cost estimation, and quality evaluation.
Students will be introduced to basic methodologies and tools of project management—including task-tracking systems—and will be expected to use these frameworks to structure their weekly work. The course prioritizes the process as much as the final outcome; assessment will focus on consistent engagement, task completion, and reflective learning across the semester.
Particular attention will be given to fostering initiative and collaborative competencies. Students will have the opportunity to experiment with different roles within a project environment and will be encouraged to critically assess the dynamics of teamwork and the practical implications of digital technologies.
Upon successful completion, students will be prepared to apply interdisciplinary knowledge and project-based methodologies in academic and professional settings, demonstrating both initiative and adaptability in the face of evolving technological and societal demands.
