Module 1 – Consolidation and development of linguistic structures
revision and extension of selected B2 grammar topics,
expansion of academic and professional vocabulary,
short oral and written tasks (notes, summaries, reports).
Module 2 – Fluency and argumentation
developing skills for discussion and debate,
communicative simulations, work with authentic texts (press, literature, audiovisual materials),
writing longer texts (essay, review, report).
Module 3 – Integration and mediation
mediation strategies (paraphrase, summary, explanation),
preparation and delivery of academic and persuasive presentations,
developing linguistic flexibility across communicative contexts.

S_U03 – the student uses German at B2+ level, according to CEFR.
Example: can summarize a newspaper article and express an opinion.

Example: formulates arguments “for” and “against” during an academic debate.

S_K01 – the student critically evaluates their own knowledge and received content, and can modify their linguistic performance.
Example: notices difficulties in using the passive voice and asks for additional practice.

Assessment criteria
Course Requirements and Assessment
active participation in classes,
maximum of 1 absence allowed per 30 hours of classes,
timely submission of written assignments and partial tasks,
passing the semester test.
Semester test takes place at the end of the semester,
includes: reading and listening comprehension, written production (essay, review, report), grammar elements, short oral interaction,
minimum of 60% required in each component to pass.
Grading
The final grade is based on: class activity, written and oral tasks, participation in debates, and the semester test result.
Grading scale:
60–68% – satisfactory
69–76% – satisfactory plus
77–84% – good
85–92% – good plus
93–100% – very good
