The most important tasks of student trainees during their internship include:
1. Learning about the organization, tasks and principles of functioning of the school (secondary school), including the method of keeping school documentation
2. Conducting French lessons under the supervision of a teacher-internship supervisor
3. Participating as observers in French language classes conducted by the mentor and other trainees.
Total number of lessons observed and conducted: 30 hours.
Thanks to the reliable and reflective implementation of these tasks, student trainees will gain:
1. Knowledge of the organization and principles of school operation
2. Ability to conduct French lessons
3. Knowledge about students and their environment
4. Ability to cooperate with other people important in the student's life
5. Ability to discuss your own or observed activities

Assessment criteria
Assessment methods and criteria – the student is obliged to complete 30 hours of internship. Absences due to illness should be made up by the end of the semester.
a) systematically fulfilling tasks (preparing lesson plans and other materials and submitting complete internship documentation on time) - 50% of the grade at the end of the semester
b) positive evaluation of the internship given by the teacher-supervisor - 50% of the final grade
Task evaluation criteria (may vary depending on the nature of the task):
- timely completion of the task,
- compliance with the instructions and plan,
- completeness,
- clarity and logic,
- thoroughness and quality of argumentation,
- content organization and compliance with the topic,
- correctness of conclusions,
- linguistic correctness,
- classroom management skills.
30 hours of compulsory internship allow you to obtain 2 ECTS points:
1 ECTS- contact hours
1 ECTS - timely submission of correctly completed documentation (in accordance with the Instructions for students pursuing teaching internships in the 4th year of UOKNJF UW)
Scores 60% of the possible number of points.
60%-68% - satisfactory
69%-76% - sufficient plus
77%-84%- good
85%-92% - good plus
93%-100%- very good
Practical placement
Teaching internships take place in high schools selected by students.
Bibliography
1. Students use the literature presented during teaching classes at UOKNJF UW.
2. During the internship, textbooks intended for learning French at the third stage of education are used.
3. Materials used by mentors and students to conduct French lessons in accordance with the curriculum of a given class.
