Digital Technologies in Language Teaching 4100-IIIMNJOzWTC
This course aims to prepare future foreign language teachers to make informed, critical, and effective use of digital technologies in their teaching practice. The classes are practical in nature and are conducted synchronously via video conferencing tools and asynchronously on the Kampus platform. The course focuses on developing practical skills related to operating e-learning platforms (e.g. Moodle), creating and managing online courses, designing tasks and teaching materials in a digital environment, as well as delivering classes in both face-to-face and remote settings. Students learn to evaluate and select technologies in alignment with pedagogical goals. The curriculum addresses the application of artificial intelligence in language education, including automated assessment, content generation and adaptation, learning personalisation, and supporting teacher workflows. Overall, the course fosters the mindset of a responsible, innovative educator who is prepared for continuous, self-directed professional development within a rapidly evolving technological landscape.
