To this end, the course provides integrated training in all language competencies: speaking, writing, reading, and listening comprehension throughout the semester.
By completing the course, the student understands a wide range of difficult, longer, and complex texts, including specialized, scientific, and literary texts. They express themselves using formulations at an appropriate level of language proficiency, construct statements concerning complex issues, summarize information from written or spoken sources coherently, reproducing the theses contained therein.
The student is able to participate in discussions, presenting theses and arguments, precisely formulating their views and statements on complex issues. They develop individual issues within them and conclude them with an appropriate conclusion.

Assessment criteria
Exercises for the reception and production of longer complex texts, including specialized scientific texts. Participation in discussions (presenting theses and arguments), reviewing specialized works and literary works, public speaking, rhetorical exercises, preparation for writing a master's thesis (citation, editing, creating bibliographies and footnotes).
Students pass the course by demonstrating an appropriate number of attendances, participation in class activities, and passing individual competencies in the following proportions:

Individual competencies will be assessed based on appropriately selected tasks - written assignments, public speaking, summarizing within listening comprehension, summarizing, participation in discussion, etc.
Two absences are allowed per semester.
