(in Polish) Warsztat nauczyciela w zakresie metodyki nauczania języka obcego: Rozwijanie i ocenianie sprawności pisania w dobie sztucznej inteligencji 4100-2SPMEN-WNWPAIA
The course bridges traditional ELT methodology with contemporary digital innovation, focusing specifically on the nuanced needs of Polish learners developing written English skills across their educational career. Starting with self-reflection on personal writing experiences from both learner and educator perspectives, participants analyse the specific linguistic and stylistic hurdles typical for Polish native speakers at different educational stages (primary vs. secondary). Through interactive lectures, discussions, groupwork and hands-on workshops, in-service teachers explore core text-building blocks, such as unity, coherence, and cohesion, and master the practical steps required to scaffold writing lessons effectively. The course addresses both process-oriented and task-based approaches, detailing how to utilize Project-Based Learning (PBL), Task-Based Learning (TBL), drama, visual prompts and song lyrics to spark creative writing. Lastly, participants gain practical knowledge for developing clear assessment criteria following those set for the end-of-educational-stage exams (Egzamin Ósmoklasisty, Matura) and engage in critical analysis and adaptation of commercial EFL coursebook writing materials to suit diverse classroom realities. Additionally, the course integrates modern technology, examining AI prompt engineering and AI text production and adaptation, as well as educational apps that support text creation, revision, and feedback.
