The graduate knows and understands to an advanced degree selected facts, theories, institutions, processes, phenomena in the field of political science and administration, relevant to the subject "Territorial self-government", oriented towards practical applications in the field of foreign language teaching at the second stage of education.

The graduate knows and understands the necessary terminology in the field of politics and administration, in particular the local government system, its tasks, the role and tasks of decision-making and executive bodies.

The graduate knows and understands the functioning and relations of social structures, such as local, supra-local and regional communities for which local government institutions have been established: municipal government, district government and voivodeship government in Poland.

The graduate knows and understands selected facts to an advanced degree, theories of the emergence of local government on the basis of Polish and foreign administration science, the place and role of executive and legislative bodies, processes related to the performance of public tasks, phenomena in the field of local government, relevant to the field of language teaching foreign languages, oriented towards practical applications in the field of teaching foreign languages at the second stage of education.

The graduate knows and understands the systemic position of municipal self-government, poviat self-government and voivodeship self-government, their mutual dependencies as well as the place of their bodies and the relations between them in the structure of decentralized local government administration.
