Classes are conducted over two semesters in the first year of studies. They include detailed discussion and application of the following topics:
Adjective government – use of adjectives in different grammatical cases.
Verb and noun – forms, functions, and usage in sentences.
Articles – rules for using definite, indefinite, and zero articles.
Plural forms of nouns – rules and exceptions.
Adjective declension – in singular and plural, across genders and cases.
Sentence structure – structure of simple and complex sentences, word order, and syntactic analysis.
An integral part of the course is the use of interactive exercises on the CKC platform, designed to consolidate and automate the topics covered in class.

Skills:
S1_U01 – the student applies appropriate linguistic forms in a given discursive function within simple and complex sentences.
S1_U02 – the student produces utterances using correct grammatical structures, appropriate to the communicative situation.
Social competences:
S1_K01 – the student participates in carrying out language tasks in a group, collaborating in pairs and teams.
S1_K02 – the student puts into practice the guidance of experts in grammar and applies it in communication.

Attendance (a maximum of 2 absences per semester).
Regular written assignments and control exercises.
Active participation and systematic work.
Independent work on the CKC platform (minimum 60%).
Semester test (minimum 60%).
Final test (minimum 60%).
Final grade: based on the total points obtained from continuous assessment, activity, assignments on the platform, and tests.
Grading scale:
60%–68% – satisfactory
69%–76% – satisfactory plus
77%–84% – good
85%–89% – good plus
90%–100% – very good
