(in Polish) Hydrogeologia z hydrogeochemią, ścieżka A 4030-HYDROG-CW-SA
The exercises are devoted to:
• practical training in laboratory methods for determining hydrogeological parameters: grain-size analysis, tall columns, permeameter, Reynolds tube;
• assessment of the hydraulic conductivity coefficient based on field data from pumping tests – Forchheimer-Rosłoński method;
• preparation of hydroisohypse and hydroisobath maps (interpolation methods and interpretation of hydrogeological data, including the assessment of the relationship between groundwater and surface water);
• estimation of aquifer recharge based on the infiltration coefficient and groundwater table fluctuation method;
• evaluation of baseflow from a catchment area and environmental flow in a watercourse;
• assessment of spring regime;
• interpretation of groundwater chemical analysis results and evaluation of hydrochemical data quality (ion balance and analytical error);
• determination of the background range and hydrogeochemical anomalies using statistical and graphical methods, along with interpretation of the spatial distribution of hydrogeochemical data.
Exercise materials are available on the Kampus platform.

Assessment criteria
Passing requirements for the exercises:
• based on the total number of points from a written test (K) and graded graphic-computational assignments completed during classes (P);
• the minimum score required to pass the exercises is K + P > 50% of the maximum possible total score;
• each assignment must be completed individually or in groups (laboratory reports) within 2 weeks of the final class on the respective topic, with at least 50% of the available points obtained;
• failed assignments must be corrected within the designated 2-week period;
• if the required number of points to pass is not obtained, a written retake exam will be held;
• the number of points available for each assignment and the test will be provided during the first class of the semester;
• Up to two absences from class are allowed.
