The course is of a practical nature and enables students to actively participate in activities supporting sustainable development and environmental protection. Students take part in the preparation and implementation of educational, outreach, and scientific initiatives organized by UCBS or in cooperation with UCBS, such as conferences, workshops, events promoting sustainability, communication activities, and partner projects. The course develops teamwork, environmental communication, event organization, and the practical application of sustainability knowledge in academic and social contexts.

Learning outcomes
The learning outcomes assigned to this course support the implementation of programme learning outcomes specific to the following study programmes: Interfaculty Studies in Environmental Protection (MSOŚ – BA and MA), Sustainable Development (MA), Global Environment and Development (MA), and Animal Protection (MA).
They particularly refer to the development of communication competences, interdisciplinary and cross-sectoral collaboration skills, and active engagement in activities promoting sustainable development and environmental protection.
Interfaculty Studies in Environmental Protection (MSOŚ – BA and MA)

Assessment criteria
The assessment is based on the student’s level of activity. The main criteria include engagement in the preparation and implementation of activities promoting sustainable development, participation in events organised by or in cooperation with UCBS, and the ability to work effectively in a team. The student’s ability to communicate environmental topics, prepare a short presentation or informational material, and the quality and delivery of the content are also assessed.
