The course will be conducted in groups in the form of a seminar.
The leader of a given group provides detailed issues and the conditions for passing in the tabs for that group.

General issues will include, among others:

1. Introduction to the issues of the information, digital, and gigabit society.
2. The concept of "digital transformation" and its tools.
3. Legal solutions related to digital transformation.
4. Analysis of European Union and Polish policies regarding digital transformation.
5. Social, political, and economic implications of digital transformation in the European Union and in Poland.

Workload:
Seminar 30 hours
Preparation of coursework/paper and/or tasks 30 hours
Familiarization with European Union and Polish documents and subject literature - 30 hours

The aim of the classes is to familiarize the Student with the stages of digital transformation carried out worldwide, in the European Union, and in Poland, with particular emphasis on the technological achievements of the 21st century.
The digital revolution, ongoing since the mid-20th century, is changing our reality. Digitization has become a permanent element of our lives. Successive breakthrough digital and telecommunications technologies are impacting the socio-economic sphere and private life. The content of the classes will particularly focus on analyzing the progress of the European Union in this area and its member states in comparison to other parts of the world, as well as analyzing legal solutions in this field.
