The course will be conducted in groups in the form of a seminar.
The leader of a given group provides detailed issues and the conditions for passing in the tabs for that group.
General issues will include, among others:
1. Introduction to the issues of the information, digital, and gigabit society.
2. The concept of "digital transformation" and its tools.
3. Legal solutions related to digital transformation.
4. Analysis of European Union and Polish policies regarding digital transformation.
5. Social, political, and economic implications of digital transformation in the European Union and in Poland.
Workload:
Seminar 30 hours
Preparation of coursework/paper and/or tasks 30 hours
Familiarization with European Union and Polish documents and subject literature - 30 hours
Total - 90 hours.

Student after classes:
(K_W15) - understands the concept of 'digital transformation'
(K_W15) - has in-depth knowledge about the general assumptions of the European Union in the area of digital transformation
(K_W15) - has in-depth knowledge about the social, political, and economic implications of digital transformation in the European Union and in Poland
(K_U05) - is able to analyze the progress in implementing digital transformation in Poland, other EU member states, and the goals set for the entire European Union
(K_U05) - is able, by referring to examples, to illustrate the phenomenon of digital transformation in the European Union and in Poland
(K_U05) - is able to analyze the social, political, and economic implications of digital transformation in the European Union and in Poland.
Assessment criteria
The credit for the course for the degree will take place in the last class. Each instructor provides the requirements separately in the group's data tab.
