Learning outcomes
Knowledge: students completing the course will be familiar with and understand
K_W04, basic Polish terminology of synchronic and diachronic linguistics and elementary knowledge of the latest research methods and main development directions in contemporary linguistics
K_W05, basic knowledge about the place of Greek among the Indo-European languages and its importance for the development of modern languages and contemporary scientific disciplines
K_W09 contemporary Modern Greek, spoken and written, at least at the B2 level
Skills: students completing the course will be able to
K_U01, autonomously retrieve, evaluate and use information from different written and electronic sources, with due consideration for intellectual property protection
K_U05 produce typical written projects (semester and annual paper, graduation thesis) also using the literature of the subject and different sources
K_U13 see the distinctive features of scholarly Greek (Katharevousa)
Social competences: students completing the course will be ready to
K_K05, work on a team and assume different roles within it; they will be able to give an oral presentation of teamwork results
K_K07 take part in cultural life, make use of their acquired knowledge and skills, and consciously develop their individual cultural needs
