Such as for language courses of the University of Warsaw.
Knowledge: The student knows and understands
- culture and language of the selected Mediterranean region - Spanish
- understands the importance of the main threads of the message contained in complex texts on specific and abstract topics, including understanding of discussions on technical topics in the field of its specialty.
Students will receive photocopies of the classes in advance. Mastering these materials will be mandatory.
Materials from the following textbooks will be used:
- independently extract the basic theses of the presentation / text read in Spanish
- speak Spanish at B1 level
- communicate fluently and spontaneously enough to have a normal conversation with the native user of a given language, without causing tension to either party
- formulate oral and written statements on a wide range of topics, and explain their position on matters under discussion, considering the pros and cons of different solutions.
Social competence: the graduate is ready to
- work in a group both as its moderator and performer of the entrusted task
- understanding the importance of preserving wealth, integrity and awareness of Europe's cultural heritage, including specific Mediterranean traditions
- active participation in discussions in Polish and the selected Spanish language, respecting the views of the partners
