Lectures provide students with systematic survey of main data on religions of Asia and Africa: religions of Ancient Egypt and Ancient East, Hinduism, Judaism, Taoism, Confucianism, Shintoism, Shamanism, Alevism, Karaism, Christianity in Asia and Africa, etc.
Lectures are provided by the staff of the Faculty of Oriental Studies at UW who are experts in the respective religions.
