The outline of history of Indian arts (Indus Valley civilisation - beginnig of the 21st century). Presentation of the most important periodical phases of the art development and their main artefacts in broadly-conceived cultural context. Discussing the basic terminology of the Indian arts and aesthetics, Characteristic of different regions of India and thei arts in the historical and socio-cultural context; a context of the broadly-conceived arts (wastu, śilpa); prpblems of modern and contemporary art in India.
