Islamic Art 3600-AR-IR-TU-SI2
The purpose of this course is to present issues connected with history of Islamic art, in particular Arabic, Persian and Turkish art and architecture. Students will be acquainted with forms, iconography and ornaments of Islamic art and also with techniques of manufacturing particular objects. Topics will be presented in a chronological order – from the Mamluk dynasty to modern times.
