Graduates know and understand:

A student after completing the subject:
- knows the history of the development of the Hittite language,
- has basic knowledge of the grammar of the Hittite language
- is aware of the complex nature of the Hittite language, its place and significance in the context of the culture and history of the Ancient East;
Skills:
- recognizes cuneiform characters in Hittite grammar,
- demonstrates a basic knowledge of the Hittite language,
- is able to proficiently use cuneiform script and tools for its cognition and analysis;
Competencies:
- Understands the role of the Hittite language in cognition and understanding of the ancient world.
