Learning outcomes
- the student knows the grammatical material and the texts read,
- is aware of the complex nature of the Akkadian language;
- recognizes about 300 cuneiform signs in Neo-Assyrian script,
- recognizes grammatical forms,
- is able to read selected texts independently,
- analyzes and translates the texts read,
- is fluent in tools used to learn and analyze the Akkadian language,
- is able to use electronic tools in Polish and foreign languages;
- understands the role of the Akkadian language in learning and understanding the world of the Ancient East.
Assessment criteria
continuous assessment: attendance at classes, preparation for classes and activity, mid-semester written control tests.
