Methodological lecture 3600-7-WO4-PMRF1
This lecture aims to show the specificity of Western philosophy, especially to show what makes it different from Eastern philosophy systems. One of the most important distinguishing factors is her attitude towards religion - it is characterized by the growing autonomy of philosophy. During the lecture some philosophical concepts of religion will be presented, thought of St. Augustine and Saint. Thomas Aquinas. The religion of gnosis and related philosophical problems, modern esoterism and theosophy will also be presented on the example of the thought of Louis-Claude de Saint-Martin, as well as the legacy of Enlightenment deism and atheism.
