Translation classes 3600-7-TU3-ZP(Z)
The aim of the course is to teach students how to read and comprehend literary texts (including excerpts from classical Turkish works) and to familiarize them with the basic techniques of translation. The classes also aim to expand students’ vocabulary in the field of contemporary Turkish.
The course includes reading, translating into Polish, and carrying out grammatical and stylistic analyses of broadly understood literary texts (short stories, excerpts from novels, essays, and newspaper columns). Work with texts involves the use of traditional and electronic dictionaries, as well as other online resources, both during classes and at home.
