Course comprises chosen problems of traditional culture of people living in the territory of contemporary Turkey.The detailed topics will be discussed and decided at first course. Proposed subjects: ethnic and tribe identity in Turkey; traditional and contemporary rituals; religions in Turkey

Prerequisites (description)

The aim of the classes is to present important issues of Turkish literature, linguistics or ethnology of Turkey as well as socio-cultural problems of Turkey. The classes have form of a panel. Students prepare presentations in Polish or in Turkish or in conference languages on chosen topics upon literature suggested by the lecturer.
