Learning Turkish from a beginner level primarily involves familiarizing students with the nature of the agglutinative language.
The classes aim to teach students to communicate effectively in everyday situations, such as shopping (groceries, at the greengrocer's, shoe store, etc.), traveling, asking about age, occupation, directions, obtaining information from information desks, reading or writing a short letter or note, writing down how to prepare a dish, as well as the anatomy of the human body (names of body parts) and complaining about basic ailments, e.g., headache, sore throat, runny nose, etc.
