Reading specialist texts 3600-7-SI3-LTS1
The work on the text during these exercises consists of two elements.
After discussing the basic issues related to the text, students will be given a Chinese specialist text to work on and translate in class, which, once translated into Polish, will be the subject of further discussion.
Thanks to the classes structured in this way, students will not only acquire basic translation skills, but will also learn to do the relevant research necessary for the correct translation of the specialised text and its interpretation, and will acquire the necessary specialised vocabulary not only in Chinese but also in English, and perhaps even in Polish.
An additional outcome of the exercises will be an in-depth knowledge of students on selected issues from the disciplines mentioned above.
