After completing the course provided for in the program:
Knowledge:
- Has in-depth detailed knowledge (including terminology, theory and methodology) in the field of literary studies, linguistics and the
science of culture and religion [K_W01]
- Has extended knowledge of selected problems of Oriental cultures (in the field of literature, language, culture and religion) in a
comparative perspective [K_W02]
- Has extended knowledge of selected problems of the Korean Peninsula's culture (in the field of culture and literature or language or
philosophy and religion or history and socio-political issues) [K_W03]
- Has an extended and deepened knowledge of the Korean language [K_W04]
- Has detailed knowledge of the state of research in the field of selected Korean issues and research centers in Poland and in the world
[K_W05]
- Knows and understands advanced methods of analysis, interpretation and evaluation of various products of Korean culture appropriate
for selected traditions, theories and research schools in the field of literary studies, linguistics and the sciences of culture and religion

- Knows and understands the native scientific tradition (methods of analysis, interpretation and evaluation) of Korea [K_W07]
- Has an orientation in the contemporary cultural life of Korea [K_W08]
- Has a thorough knowledge of the principles of communicating, writing and reading in Korean [K_W09]
- Has extensive, in-depth knowledge of the structures and social relations as well as socio-cultural behavior of Korea in terms of
professional verbal social and intercultural communication [K_W10]
- Knows and understands the principles of copyright and intellectual property management [K_W11]
Skills:
- Can search, analyze, evaluate and use information from various sources and formulate critical judgments based on them [K_U01]
- Can indicate the sources of cultural differences between the countries of the Orient / Africa, also on the basis of source materials [K_U02]
- Is able to independently acquire knowledge and expand research skills as well as develop abilities allowing to achieve a professional

- Can use the knowledge in the field of oriental studies to expand knowledge in the field of humanities [K_U04]
- Can apply knowledge of oriental studies in solving problems related to cultural diversity in professional situations [K_U05]
- Can use concepts from the field of philosophy and religion of Korea in order to analyze and interpret religious phenomena, ethical
motives and human behavior, as well as differences between cultures [K_U06]
- Can detect the relationship between the formation of philosophical and religious ideas in Korea and social, cultural and economic

- Can read, analyze and interpret advanced literary texts and other works of cultural creativity (film, press, social writing) of Korea, correctly

- Can compare and thoroughly analyze the relationships between selected literary texts and other works of cultural creativity in Korea (film,

- Can conduct a critical analysis and interpretation of various products of Korean culture in a manner appropriate to selected traditions,
theories and research schools in the field of literary studies, linguistics and the sciences of culture and religion, using original approaches

- Can analyze the most important phenomena in the history / socio-political / linguistic / cultural situation of Korea [K_U11]
- Can evaluate, select and explain the most important products of contemporary Korean culture [K_U12]
- Can select and translate into Polish the most valuable works of literature / writings of Korea [K_U13]
- Uses a foreign language at least at the B2 + level [K_U14]
- He can speak Korean at the C1 level [K_U15]
- Can behave in a professional way, react verbally and mediate in communication and negotiations in the selected socio-cultural context of

- Can choose and formulate the topic of the master's thesis, select and find sources in Korean, refer to various theoretical approaches, as
well as other sources [K_U17]
- Has an in-depth ability to present detailed issues in the field of cultural issues of Korea in Polish and in Korean, taking into account the
intellectual tradition of Korea [K_U18]
- Has an in-depth ability to formulate, in speech and in writing, own opinions and conclusions in Polish and in Korean [K_U19]
- Has an in-depth skill of substantive argumentation using the views of other authors [K_U20]
- Can fluently use advanced electronic and internet tools in Polish and Korean [K_U21]
Social competence:
- Understands the need for lifelong learning, can inspire and organize the process

The final grade is issued solely on the basis of the competences demonstrated in the oral exam (during the examination session).
The following criteria are taken into account in the assessment:
- communication skills (fluency, intelligibility, interactive communication),
- language skills (including active mastery of the material in the field of: lexis, grammar, expressions/phrases/idioms/proverbs,
pronunciation etc.; correctness).
