Korean language and culture - exam 3600-7-KO5-JiK-eg(Z)
Classes as part of the university's C1 level practical Korean language course. Classes focused mainly on developing the habit of selfexpansion of vocabulary and complex syntactic structures. Developing the skills of recognizing and applying linguistic nuances and
expanding the mastered semantic fields in Korean. Developing the ability to express thoughts in written and oral form at the level of
complex statements in the field of broadly understood humanities, with an emphasis on the use of phraseology (collocation, idioms). To
consolidate communication skills in the field of listening comprehension and speaking, taking into account the vocabulary characteristic of
the language of the media, science, philosophical and religious writing, culture, literature and art. Further learning colloquial language and
complex polite phrases.

After completing the course provided for in the program:
Knowledge:
- Has in-depth detailed knowledge (including terminology, theory and methodology) in the field of literary studies, linguistics and the
science of culture and religion [K_W01]
- Has extended knowledge of selected problems of Oriental cultures (in the field of literature, language, culture and religion) in a
comparative perspective [K_W02]
- Has extended knowledge of selected problems of the Korean Peninsula's culture (in the field of culture and literature or language or

- Has an extended and deepened knowledge of the Korean language [K_W04]
- Has detailed knowledge of the state of research in the field of selected Korean issues and research centers in Poland and in the world

- Can behave in a professional way, react verbally and mediate in communication and negotiations in the selected socio-cultural context of

- Can choose and formulate the topic of the master's thesis, select and find sources in Korean, refer to various theoretical approaches, as
well as other sources [K_U17]
- Has an in-depth ability to present detailed issues in the field of cultural issues of Korea in Polish and in Korean, taking into account the
intellectual tradition of Korea [K_U18]
- Has an in-depth ability to formulate, in speech and in writing, own opinions and conclusions in Polish and in Korean [K_U19]
- Has an in-depth skill of substantive argumentation using the views of other authors [K_U20]
- Can fluently use advanced electronic and internet tools in Polish and Korean [K_U21]
Social competence:
- Understands the need for lifelong learning, can inspire and organize the process
Assessment criteria
The final grade is issued solely on the basis of the competences demonstrated in the oral exam (during the examination session).
The following criteria are taken into account in the assessment:
- communication skills (fluency, intelligibility, interactive communication),
- language skills (including active mastery of the material in the field of: lexis, grammar, expressions/phrases/idioms/proverbs,
pronunciation etc.; correctness).
