Skills:
- can search for analysis and evaluate information with the use of various sources and formulate critical judgments based on them. K_U01
- can identify sources of cultural differences in Japan on the basis of source materials. K_U02
- knows how to independently acquire knowledge and broaden research skills and develop abilities allowing to achieve a professional career. K_U03
- can use the knowledge of Japanese culture to expand knowledge in the field of humanities. K_U04

The papers will be judged in terms of a student’s ability to form a thesis, construct an argument and give proper textual support, and reach reasonable conclusions.
