Japanese script 3600-7-JA4-PJ1
Continuation of Japanese writing system classes. Last semester of learning the Jōyō kanji list, ideograms, compound words, and their usage in sentences. 1536-1945 (409 ideograms).
Student has to get an ability of writing, reading and recognizing of 1536-1945 kanji and their compound words. Besides a student needs to develop an ability of reading and understanding of texts and preparing of written texts using compound words from N1 of JLPT.

Learning outcomes
Knowledge:
- has a broaden knowledge about Japanese language (its structure, grammar, history, writting system) (K_W12).
- is aware of complex nature of Japanese language, its place and role and importance in context of culture and history of Japan (K_W13).
- has a knowledge about rules of translation from Japanese to Polish (K_W15).
Abilities:
- use Japanese language on C1 level (K_U12)
- can translate literary texts from Japanese language to Polish (K_U14)
- can operate in Japanese language environment properly (K_U17)
Social Competences:
- understands the need of all life long learning (K_U01)
Assessment criteria
Evaluation will be based on:
class attendance (at least 50 percent in the semester)
in case of absence, sick leave should be presented;
up to two absences without sick leave are possible;
preparing.
Three small written tests will be conducted. Each test will be conducted twice.
Tests will be profiled to check the following abilities: writing, reading, understanding.
