Japanese Language and Culture 3 (Z) 3600-7-JA2-JKJ3
Continuation of the standard Japanese language in the 2nd year of Japanese studies. Practicing the practical application of grammar rules learned during the lecture on the descriptive grammar of the contemporary Japanese language. Practicing reading comprehension, listening, and speaking. Presentation of situations in which specific expressions are used, learning new words and constructions. The emphasis is on developing language comprehension and processing skills.
Classes including, among others Practicing the construction of complex sentences, explaining how to use idiomatic expressions (mainly related to body parts), onomatopoeia and mimetic expressions, expressions denoting choice, adverbial expressions, and others.

Knowledge:
- has a basic knowledge of the Japanese language (its structure, grammar, history, writing) [K_W12]
- is aware of the complex nature of the Japanese language, its place and meaning in the context of the culture and history of Japan [K_W13]

Assessment criteria
- class participation
