FULL DESCRIPTION OF THE SUBJECT: During the course, the main political ideas that have appeared in the broadly understood Iranian civilization, or rather the civilization of the Persian language, from the very beginning of its existence to the present day will be discussed and debated. These will be various concepts, both those specific to this civilization and its genuine contribution to political thought, and those that have been adopted or inspired by the achievements of other civilizations or political regions. Each of these ideas will be defined and discussed in terms of its sources, development and significance for the political culture of Iran and neighboring countries, as well as its impact on regions and countries representing different traditions of political thought. The issues will be discussed on three levels covering the pre-Islamic period, the era of classical Islamic civilization, and modernity. |
