(in Polish) Konserwatorium iranistyczne: Zrozumieć Iran i Afganistan 3600-7-IR3-KI(Z)
During the seminar, students will be educated on the social, political, economic, and cultural issues of contemporary Iran and Afghanistan, taking into account historical, religious, and demographic contexts. Particular emphasis will be placed on the active participation of students in classes, such as critical analysis of source texts in Persian or English, preparation of essays on selected topics, and discussions. The aim of the course is to develop skills that enable students to independently analyze and interpret phenomena present in the cultures of Iran and Afghanistan using appropriate tools, leading to an in-depth theoretical understanding of the cultures and societies of Iran and Afghanistan, as well as intercultural relations.
Term 2024Z:
