II Oriental language and culture 3600-7-IR3-IIJKO(Z)
During the course students will be introduced to the following issues:
- repetition of the material from the 1st year of the course
- verbal phrases, past tense, present tense, future tense, negation in past, present and future tense, copulative mood.
- vocabulary and phraseology regarding everyday situations: shopping, asking for directions, school/university, house, amusement/free time etc.

Knowledge:
- has extensive knowledge of Arabic language (its/their structure, history, script) and basic knowledge of the second oriental language - level A2 K_W12
- is aware of the complex nature of a Arabic language, its place and significance in the cultural and historical context of Iran and Afghanistan K_W13
Skills:
- has a good command of Arabic language at A2 level K_U12
- can fluently use the script of a Arabic language and the necessary tools to learn and analyze it (traditional and electronic dictionaries, lexicons, linguistic corpora, data bases, etc.) K_U16
Social competence:
- understands the need to learn all one’s life K_K01
- can cooperate and work in a group as well as forge relationships and build social relations K_K02
- can establish relations and cooperate with representatives oother cultures K_K03
- recognizes the need of dialogue between cultures K_K06
