(in Polish) Wstęp do iranistyki 1 3600-7-IR1-WI(Z)
The course is designed to introduce students to the basic issues, conceptual apparatus, and research methodology of contemporary Iranian Studies. During the classes, methodological perspectives applied in research on the Iranian world are discussed, together with available academic sources and research tools. An important component of the course is an overview of the history of Polish and international Iranian Studies, as well as selected research problems, with particular emphasis on current trends in the field. The course provides both a methodological and substantive introduction to Iranian Studies, preparing students to work with scholarly literature, reference tools, and primary sources.
