First Language and Culture of India - Sanskrit(Z) 3600-7-IN3-IJKIS(Z)
Practical study of the first Indian language (Bengali / Hindi / Sanskrit / Tamil) at the intermediate level. Learning modern languages (Bengali / Hindi / Tamil) is based primarily on carefully selected texts, and in the case of Sanskrit on reading and recitation of original texts.
In the case of modern languages (Bengali / Hindi / Tamil) classes include:
- practicing conversational skills in various spheres of everyday life;
- oral exercises on selected topics at the intermediate level;
- answering the questions;
- reading and discussing selected texts;
- listening comprehension exercises (live speech, dictation, audio-video).
In the case of Sanskrit classes include reading of original texts at the intermediate level and their recitation.
