Survey of the First Indian Language (Bengali) 3600-7-IN2-WIJIB(L)
The classes aim to broaden the students’ knowledge of the grammar of the contemporary standard Bengali language (calit bhasa variety). The main topics include: conditional participle; conditional clauses; concessive clauses; verbal noun; interrogative pronouns; interrogative sentences; indefinite pronouns; negative sentences; relative pronouns and their use in sentences; compound and complex sentences. Grammatical explanations are being introduced gradually, according to the level of difficulty.
